Palia Bundles Guide: Fish Constellation

Where, when and how to find everything you need for the four bundles of the fish constellation.

Once you’ve explored the ruins in Phoenix Falls during the quest titled “Echoes of the Unknown”, you’ll be introduced to the mechanic known as “Bundles”. This mechanic requires you to collect certain items and contribute them in order to progress. Here, I’ve compiled the four bundles in the fish constellation, as well as all the information you need in order to find the fish, bugs and recipes you need.

Spooky Bundle

Garden Mantis

Can be found at any time of day along the coastlines of Kilima. Just use your smoke bombs to stun the little green critter. Fair warning, you’ll need to stun it more than once - he’s a jumpy little thing. 

Vampire Crab

Found exclusively on the beaches that surround the Flooded Fortress during the hours between 6pm and 3pm in game. Use your smoke bombs to stun it, again you’ll need to stun it multiple times as it runs away. 

Mutated Angler

Found in the caves in Bahari Bay. These can be caught at any time of the day using a worm as bait. 

Voidray

Found in the same caves as the Mutated Angler, except this time using a glow worm as bait. Again, this can be caught at any time of the day. 

Beach Bundle

Green Pearl

A random drop that comes when you open Closed Oysters. A good place to collect Oysters is the Lighthouse Lagoon in Bahari Bay. 

Stripeshell Snail

Found along the coasts of Bahari Bay between the hours of 6pm and 3am. Use your smoke bombs to stun, you may need to do this more than once as the snail tries to escape.

Blue Marlin

Found on the coast of Bahari Bay and caught using a worm as bait. Can be caught at any time of the day. 

Sushi

A recipe which requires two prepping tables and a stove to cook. The recipe itself is found by fishing in any pond with a glow worm as bait. The recipe is as follows:

• Dari Cloves - found in Bahari Bay

• One of any fish

• Heat Root - found on cliffs in Bahari Bay

• Vinegar - purchased from the General Store

• Rice - grown as a crop on your personal plot or purchased from Badruu on the farm

• Sweet Leaf - found in various areas in Bahari Bay

Freshwater Bundle

Inky Dragonfly

Around the rivers and ponds in Bahari Bay and caught by using your smoke bombs to stun. You may need to stun it more than once. 

HydratePro Fertiliser

Purchased from the General Store. 40 gold will get you 20 of them and you only need five for the quest, so that’s 15 left over for your crops!

Giant Goldfish 

Found in the ponds around your personal plot, in Kilima Village or Bahari Bay. To catch these, you need to use a glow worm as bait, but they can be caught at any time of the day. 

Trout Dinner (⭐)

A recipe that requires an oven, a prepping station and an oven to craft. You find this recipe in Einar’s house, but only after you reach level 3 friendship with him. It takes 1 minutes 40 seconds to craft and the recipe is as follows:

• Any trout - Rainbow Trout can be found in the rivers of Kilima at any time of day, no bait required

• Any spice - Spice Sprouts are pretty common throughout Kilima

• Potato - Grown on your personal plot or purchased from the store at Badruu’s farm

• Wild Garlic - appears as a random spawn throughout Kilima during the night

Magic Bundle

Fisherman’s Brew

A recipe that can be made at a campfire from ingredients found early on during the game. However, you do not unlock this recipe until you reach level 5 in the Fishing skill when it becomes purchasable from Einar. The recipe is as follows:

• Emerald Carpet Moss - found around Fisherman’s Lagoon

• Crystal Lake Lotus - found around beaches

Enchanted Pupfish

Found in the lake in Kilima Village at any time of the day. You need to use a glow worm as bait in order to catch this. 

Shimmerfin

Found in the same location as the Enchanted Pupfish, only this time using a normal worm as bait. Again, found at any time of the day. 

Long Nosed Unicorn Fish

Found on the coast of Bahari Bay. This fish requires the use of a glow worm as bait and can only be found during the day time hours.
